Extravagant Generosity

We say that money doesn’t rule us, but it certainly has our attention! We don’t want to be stingy, but we fear for our future. We compare our lifestyles to those richer than us, rather than to most of the world. And we indulge ourselves.

Being generous with our money (as well as our time and attention) un-chains us from our fears and allows us to become like the people we admire. So...

give God the first part of every paycheck. Have each time of giving remind you of God’s goodness… and make you even more grateful. Worship when you give.
