September 25, Rev. Brian Erickson on the United Methodist Church

The Rev. Brian Erickson is the Senior Pastor of Trinity United Methodist Church in Homewood, Alabama. He also serves a co-chair of the NAC3 team, a diverse group of leaders – clergy and laity – tasked with shaping, and sharing a vision for continuing in the United Methodist Church.


October 2, Rev. Vaughn Stafford on the Global Methodist Church

The Rev. Vaughn Stafford is the Senior pastor of ClearBranch United Methodist Church in Trussville, Alabama. He is president of the North Alabama Chapter of the Wesleyan Covenant Association.


October 9, Dr. Tommy Gray on the Foundry Network

The Rev. Dr. Tommy Gray is the Senior Pastor of Asbury United Methodist Church in Madison, Alabama. Asbury voted to disaffiliate from the United Methodist Church in May. The disaffiliation process will be completed at the December 10 called Annual Conference. Asbury is a founding member church of the Foundry Network, a Wesleyan/Methodist network of churches.


October 16 The Free Methodist Church

We will soon finalize plans with our speaker from the Free Methodist Church. The Free Methodist Church is a historic Methodist Church started in upstate New York in 1860. In the U.S., the Free Methodist Church is predominantly found in the Northeast, the Midwest, and the West. Frazier Memorial Church in Montgomery has affiliated with the Free Methodist.


Wednesdays @ 6:30pm

Discernment groups provide an environment for people who process ideas, and information better in conversation with others. The Table on Wednesday nights will be our primary time for Discernment Groups following the shared meal in Hearin Hall. A few groups can be formed to meet at other times during the week.
